Paul Sanderson, Director of Albert Harrison & Co Ltd; a family owned wholesale and distribution business supplying the retail industry, contacted AMP Wire after a recent Insurer survey identified an issue regarding the storage of aerosols in the warehouse. The Insurer felt that should there be a fire within the building, with the large quantity of aerosols being stored in an un-contained area would possible explode thus spreading the fire to other parts of the building.

After speaking to the sales department to discuss if we could manufacture such a product, AMP Wire sent Matt the Design and Development Team Leader to complete a site survey. Matt suggested that AMP Wire utilise the space in the warehouse by manufacturing an enclosure with sliding doors to fit under the existing racking.

AMP Wire had a 2 week deadline to manufacture and install the enclosures before the Insurer was due to visit. The task didn’t phase the production team and installed on time.
