Wire mesh radiator guards prevent physical contact by encapsulating the radiator with a metal grille barrier that does not hold heat so is safe to touch.

Manufactured from wire mesh with a 25mm pitch (the space between the metal wires), AMP Wire radiator covers allow heat to circulate freely. The rate of circulation (over 80% of hot air movement) compares very favourably with other types of solid radiator cover such as MDF or costly and highly restrictive sheet metal guards.

Wire mesh radiator covers meet all known health and safety requirements (visit the HSE website) and are especially recommended for use in establishments that care for the vulnerable and infirm such as schools, nurseries, nursing homes and retirement homes.
